Here you will find a list of forthcoming events. 2012 is the year when we will be commemorating the 21st year of The Laura Centre. The money raised form these events will help us continue the work we have been involved with for the past 21 years.
The Laura Centre 21st Birthday Luncheon 
(with guest speaker Alan Birchenall MBE)
Wednesday 21st March 2012
This year we celebrate our 21st birthday and to mark this occasion we are holding a celebratory luncheon at Leicester College. It includes a wonderful 3 course meal, a reception drink and an address by Mr. Alan Birchenall MBE (Mr. Leicester). Tickets are £19.50 each or £140.40 for a table of 8 (saving £15.60). There will also be a raffle with a selection of prizes donated by local businesses and individuals. For this auspicious event tickets are unfortunately limited so, to avoid disappointment, book now using the link below.

The London Marathon

The London 10K Run 2012

This will the 12th running on this ever popular event. Reverse that
number 12 and it is, of course, 21 which reflects our age next year. So why not help us raise funds to ensure the next 21 years. We have a number of spaces available for this event which will be allocated on a first come first served basis. 2011 was our first year with this event and the places went very quickly so don't delay.
The minimum sponsorship required for this event is £500

TLC in the Park at Abbey Park

Once again we will be running at Abbey park. This is a 9km event held at Abbey Park Leicester on June 16th 2012. Apart from the 9km event there will also be a short 3km event for those prefering to walk or jog. The run will start at 10:00am and the walk will commence at 11:00am. Entry for both parts of the event are by minimum donation of £10 per person. Youngsters in pushchairs are not charged for.

This event grows every year in popularity so make sure you have your placed booked by registering now. Please note that you can change the number of entrants at PayPal checkout. TLC Sunrise Walk

We will be holding the annual TLC Sunrise Walk this year on Sunday 16th September starting at 6:00am froim Arthingworth Lodge near Market Harborough. This that have taken part before already know what a wonderfully fullfilling event this is. For those that haven't then you are in for a real treat. Watching the sun rise over the beautiful Leicesteshire countryside is amazing and, as one of last years walkers commented, "noweher I would rather be" There is an entry fee for this walk but you could also help us raise even more funds with sponsorship. Entry is £10 per person with under 16 year olds free. Those regsitering on-line will be e-mailed a web link where payment can be made.
